My principal philosophy as a mortgage broker is that if I always do what I believe is the right thing for the client, I will be successful.  To me, always putting my client’s needs first is what it is all about.  I have a diverse background that has led me to this position, and it is one that I feel most comfortable in.  I know I have the ability and the integrity to help my clients achieve many of their financial goals through proper mortgage financing. 

 In my opinion, the qualities that a mortgage broker should have are as follows:

3. The ability to see the “big picture” as far as my clients finances are concerned.

My background has helped position me with all of the above listed talents.  I was a high school mathematics teacher, and that has helped me with crunching the numbers!  That also enhanced my communication skills, so I am able to clearly explain the different loan options available to you.  I have also worked as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley, which certainly has helped with my understanding of finances and how to best manage them.  When you put the package together, you get a mortgage broker that can choose the right product for you and tell you why it works for your situation.

I live in the Rancho Penasquitos area of San Diego, and have for the past 10 years.  My wife Liz and I have 2 boys, Jacob and Sean.  We are active in the community, as I have been on the little league board for the past 8 years and a manager for the past 9.  Liz has been on the PTA board at both our elementary and middle schools.  In other words, we are stable members of the community, and don’t plan on going anywhere soon!  This is important, as I believe it lends to my integrity.  I plan on staying around, so I always make sure I do right by my clients as I see many of them in the community every day!
